Hey guys! So have you ever been on a cruise?
Well, when I was 9 years old we went on our first cruise. It was a total surprise to my sister, brother, and I. We had no clue and my mom handed us “fun money” because we were going to stay with my aunt, or so we thought.
The money was Bahamas currency! So we got to the ship and I saw the name and I wasn’t quite sure how to say it let alone knew what it meant. I asked my mom what sovereign meant and she told me that it meant ruler or in power.
I started thinking of this on Sunday and I came to the conclusion that God is really sovereign over the sea, earth and sky. He reigns over the whole universe! Isn’t that crazy? The same God that sent his son to die for our sins is the same God who created the whole universe with just His words! It’s just crazy to me.
Let me take it one step farther… the only thing He used his hands to make was us… humans! And it says in Psalm 139:13 that he knit us together in our mother’s womb. He STILL uses his hands to create today!
I love it! The sovereign king of the universe knit you together in your mother’s womb! If that doesn’t get you excited I don’t know what will!
Just remember… God is not only sovereign of the seas but of the earth, sky, and universe!
Remember, I love you guys. Peace out peeps!
