Spring is here, and with Spring comes hope. We leave the cold, harsh winter and walk into the warm promise of new life.
John 16:22 says, “So will you also pass through a time of intense sorrow when I am taken from you but you will see me again! And then hearts will burst with joy, with no one being able to take it from you!”
This week, I’m giving you a recipe for Cheesy Potato Soup.
Cheesy Potato Soup
3 stalks celery
1 medium onion (diced)
1 carrot (diced)
1/2 stick butter
8 potatoes (diced)
1 can milk
6 slices american cheese
Water
Take celery, onions, carrot, butter, and four cups of water to boil. Cook until almost done. Add diced potatoes, cook until tender. Add more water if needed, then add one cup of canned milk and one cup of regular milk. Bring to a light boil, add cheese, and stir. Take off heat, then add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with crackers.
