More: a greater or additional amount or degree of

I want more.

We’ve probably uttered this phrase a thousand times in our life. Whether it’s in regard to food, money, time, or whatever, I’m sure you’ve said it at least once.

But how often have we said to God, “I want more of you”?

Do you desire more of God?

As Christians, we are called to continual growth. We are not to remain stagnant. We should be asking God for more.

The definition of more is simple: a greater or additional amount of something. Today, I encourage you to ask for more of Him in your life.

Ask for more of His presence. Ask for more of His time. Ask for more of His Spirit. Ask for more of His direction, His love, or whatever it is you need. Ask for more today.

Then, give Him the room to work it out. If we want a larger amount of something, we have to make room for it in our lives. The same is true for God. We have to make room for Him.

He wants you to have more. He desires for you to ask for more. So what are you waiting for?

Say, “I want more of you, God” today!
